Chamber Business Awards launched

TULLAMORE & District Chamber of Commerce have announced the launch of their Annual Business Awards to take place on Friday, April 13 in the Bridge House Hotel.

The event which recognises business excellence has now become an annual opportunity to highlight and promote just some of the companies and individuals within the region.

Nominations are now open on the Tullamore Chamber of Commerce website, www:tullamorechamber.com under the following categories:

Best Website/ Social Media

Community Achievement / Organistion/ Individual

Emerging New Businesses

Best Multi National Company

Retail Excellence.

Chamber President Anne Starling said: "Our Chamber has grown from strength to strength over the past number of years, with our membership now at its highest level as we celebrate our 40th year in operation. We now have very active groups working to improve business life in Tullamore with a representative of the Chamber sitting on a diverse range of bodies to ensure that the business groups within our community have adequate representation. As a result our business community is well engaged and working together with renewed energy.

"Our Annual Business Awards, highlighting and recognising excellence through our partnership has been a factor in our continued growth and success.

"Our 2017 Business Awards night is planned for Friday 13th April 2018 and we now invite nominations on our website. Judging of these nominations will commence early in March.
