National Ploughing Championships 2017 at Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly.

Please be informed that the National Ploughing Championships will take place on the 19th, 20th and 21st September 2017 at Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly. As a result of this event the N52 at Screggan will be closed from 10am on Monday 18/9/16 to 5pm Friday 22/9/16, diversions will be in place.

For the three days of the event traffic will be extremely heavy on all routes around Tullamore and Birr especially between 7am and 12md also between 3pm and 8pm.

An Garda Siochana ask that deliveries to and from your premises be avoided for the three days of the event but if this is not possible every effort should be made to avoid the hours outlined above. I would also ask that you inform all staff of these disruptions and that every effort be made to avoid travelling during the busy periods.
